hi limit switch for spa heater

This limit switch is longer and smaller in diameter than the original one. Had to go online to find out that you need to secure it in place with silicone, and let it dry for a few hours. Once it dried, it was ok. The package says it is a direct replacement, but no instructions with it saying that it will be loose inside the drywell, and to use silicone. Other wise, I think it is ok.
