This Pump Replaces: Cal Spa Power-Right 56 Frame 5.0 HP 230 Volt 2 Speed Pump with Model Numbers: PRC-9083X & PRC9089X

The Amp rating of the Cal Spa Power Right pump is 10.8 Amps which in reality is a 2.0 HP pump. There is not a true 5.0 HP available in the Spa Industry.

Spa manufacturers (including Cal Spa) are famous for up rating the HP by just applying a sticker. For accuracy Pumps should be matched by the Amp rating, not the HP shown.

With all that said the original Cal Spa pump has been replaced with the one shown, it is a direct drop in and is rated the same as the original Cal Spa Power-Right pump (WHO IS NOW OUT OF BUSINESS) and is much cheaper and available.

This pump has 2" inlet/outlet which measures 3" outside diameter. (2 YEAR WARRANTY)
