This suction fitting complies with the new VGB law.

If you plan on using this suction cover to replace the Pentair Suction cover (900175) then you will need to file/cut the 4 fins down on the wall fitting until the cover fits and can be secured utilizing the provided screw.

Great Replacement

Great product BUT the screw is only about 1/2" long and would not work as a replacement. Drilling a slightly bigger hole in the cover and buying a replacement stainless steel screw that works, is not a big deal, BUT it is something you may need to consider as EXTRA effort.

Hot tub suction strainer replacement, it works.

The strainer worked great. Although not a direct match, because the original was discontinued, with little easy modifications the strainer fit fine. I had to make the center mounting hole larger and trim the mounting plate with a box cutter to fit perfectly. Most people should be able to do this with no water in the tub. Thanks for having this part.

Replacement Suction Covers

I had an older spa that had some suction covers that were outlawed. I used these as a replacement and it only took me about five minutes each to replace them. I did have to file down the edges of the old “support fins” and I used a Dremel tool for that which went very fast. The hardest part was cleaning up all the debris from the four covers that I had to replace. Now the spa looks great it works great and the covers are working perfectly

The help desk allowed me to find a substitute for an obsolete part

"The drain cover for my Keys Backyard spa is obsolete so this substitute worked pretty well. I did have to modify the spa mount for this product to properly fit as there instructions indicated, but it works for me."
