My Hydro Quip spa pack was perfect. Very clear documentation. Couldn't be happier.

This hot tub controller kit is awesome! It included all the parts needed to completely refurbish an older air controlled hot tub. It's well made and included good instructions on installing and operating. Considering the cost of new tubs, it's well worth the money. I installed this in a tub that had an earlier version of HydroQuip controller that had rotted out and didn't look safe any more. I only recommend this to the DIYer with experience in plumbing and wiring. In most cases, the new plugs and pigtails will have to be spliced into the existing pump and blower cords. I also had to reroute some of the plumbing to line up with the heater that was different from the old one. All that said, once it was all connected, there were no leaks and the controller works perfectly. I was able to use the old air switches and hoses since there was no access to them. While the instructions were complete, they do include information on several models which can be confusing to sort out. I had to read through them a couple times to figure it out.

Our 2nd one. Works like a champ. Be sure to loosen up the plastic cover over the heater connections. Condensation build-up corroded our last one.

"Arrived and installed. Everything I needed was included. The new component cords were essential in that the plugs fit the new control but were different from the old system. Once they were replaced it all went together and all components are working properly. The included directions were fine but a certain amount of mechanical and electrical know how should be had before attempting to install this control. Example, the heater had to be relocated from the bottom to the side. Not everyone will need to do this of course. Overall I would recommend this product especially the value and the response to my questions from their customer service."
