This pump was an exact match for my old leaking pump. The new motor is one inch longer and came with a smaller base, so it took a bit of work to put in new stainless steel mounting bolts and move the electric control box to get everything to fit properly. The original motor with the same part number apparently was 6 horsepower, while the new pump and motor with the same part number and amp rating is a 4 hp. The motor runs hot but does work correctly. The electrical connectors in the old cord slipped onto the new connection blades/posts perfectly, after noting the positions of the high speed and low speed terminals were in different positions from the original motor. SpaCare is the only company that carries this pump and motor compilation. My spa/hot tub was made by Keys Backyard in 2007 (purchased from CostCo) and has held up very well for 15 years. SpaCare saved me from having to junk it. I had to hire a crane to lift it over the house to get it into my backyard, so the thought of hiring a crane to remove it was disconcerting. Shipping was extremely fast. I ordered it on a Friday morning and the 50 pound box was on my doorstep Sunday afternoon, so it got from Oklahoma to the LA area in a little over 48 hours. Perhaps making it clear during ordering what size the base is on the new pump and what horsepower it is would be an improvement on the description ordering page. Three photos illustrate the new motor is one inch longer that the old motor and the difference in base size. Fortunately the pump is a perfect match. We are once again enjoying watching the moon and stars at night soaking in our now working hot tub.

Extremely satisfied with the product and the customer service. As a DIY hot tub owner, it was a bit of a daunting task to order the right pump but Spacare made it easy to choose with the right model numbers and specifications. I trusted the process and was rewarded with both price and product. While Davis seems to be somewhat of a one man show, it is very, very obvious that he knows everything about hot tubs, components, replacement parts, and repairs.

I'm very impressed with your service! Exactly one week ago I alerted you about the leaky pump and today I have the replacement!!! Not only did I receive specific instructions to facilitate getting the pump replaced quickly, I also received Fedex tracking for the delivery! I'm going to bookmark spacare.com and go here first for all future spa needs! I have a hot tub that came from a company that has been out of business for 8 to 10 years! When I went looking for replacement pumps, SpaCare was the only place I could find the OEM replacement!
