It is the chip that drives the board and gives it its unique functions. To correctly identify a circuit board the chip number should be used to identify it. It can be found on a white sticker near the center of the circuit board, or on a relay.

circuit board

After my circuit board shorted out I contacted both Thermo Spas and a local hot tub sales/repair shop. Each said their price was over $600.00. After finding Spa Care.com and getting the part for less than $350.00 I will be a repeat customer whenever the need arises. thank you

Great exact replacement for an old spa. Quick delivery. Unfortunately we realized a little to late we didn’t need it but spa care is amazing. Wish we could have returned

Great support

The board is an exact physical replacement for the original. I matched the jumper wires to have the correct voltages to each motor. The dip switch settings are different from the original board. The package was shipped from HydroQuip. The included installation & Operations manual contains a few errors regarding dip switch settings and programming. The SpaCare tech support was very good. The response was very quick and after exchanging several emails the spa is operational. Highly recommend SpaCare.

Just wanted to say thanks for your advice and direction. The replacement board and heater got here very quickly, a day or two after I placed the order! Installed them yesterday afternoon and we're up and running.
