Balboa Water Group® VS100 115/230 Volt Control Box Only

Balboa VS100 Systems are a viable replacement for entry level spas with minimal equipment.

**This Control Box Includes the plastic enclosure and circuit board only, and does not include any accessories such as heater, cords or keypad.*

**An alternative option to this VS100 is the Gecko in.YJ system with twice the warranty. Please contact Technical Support to see if this system is right for you.**

If you are using this box to replace either a proprietary version of the VS100, or using this to replace the RS101, you may also need to replace the overlay sticker on your existing keypad.

Just what we needed.

Our spa was no longer heating up. Followed some simple troubleshooting steps to figure out the issue was the main board. Buy the whole unit was about $50 cheaper than just buying the hoard it self. Super easy to install and the spa is back up and running. Thanks.

Excellent Alternative to RS101

This Motherboard fixed my heating issue with my hot tub. Although Spa Care was out of stock on the exact replacement for my spa, this was listed as an alternative. Everything hooked up exactly the same. The only thing you have to change is the control panel overlay as the button function is different. Fast shipping and excellent product!!!!

Worked Perfectly With 2013 Dream Maker Spas

I have a 2013 Dream Maker Spas Big EZ hot tub. The heater stopped working. I checked the voltage at the heater and found no voltage so I knew it was not the heater. Internet search revealed others resolved their heating issue with a new circuit board. This unit was much cheaper than the manufacturer specified Dream Maker RS101 Circuit Board 456404-01 and also included the housing box. But this unit has the control panel buttons reversed requiring a new overlay. I did not buy a new overlay and simply used a marker to mark my original overlay with the new button functions. There are only four buttons so it's not a big deal and saved me $55.

Money saving purchase

Perfect replacement for my broken control box. Easy to install and works exactly as the original. Replacing the part myself was much less expensive than calling someone and waiting and much less expensive than a new spa. Total time to remove defective unit and replace with the new one was less than an hour. If I had to do it again, it would be much less. The diagram and instruction on the back of the panel were easy to follow to set the dip switches and jumpers correctly for 220V operations. I was in the spa that night.

Item perfectly replaced the circuit board on my Dream Maker Spa, The relay controlling the heating failed. I was able to diagnose the problem with a voltmeter. Matt at SpaCare was excellent with helping me find the right part, for hundreds of dollars less than at my local dealer. With his help, it was easy to swap out the entire circuit board box and we are up and running again.

Replace RS101

I used this to replace a RS101 controller on a 4-year-old hot tub which is now obsolete. It worked OK, I'm disappointed they don't last any longer than 3 years. Connecting the 240v wires is very difficult as the connector block is immediately at the conduit entry.

Compatible with RS101 board replacement

Board is compatible. Only problem is the control board buttons are flipped. The temp up and down are now pump and light and visa versa. The DPIs have a different setting too, but still works fine.

Great replacement

Just what the doctor ordered. Balboa VS100 control box was perfect OEM replacement for my QCA spa. Not sure why, but it actually controls spa better than original, hence the need for a new one after only 2 years. I recommend this seller. Product shipped quickly and packed well.

Good Dreammaker replacement

Works as intended; replaced a more proprietary Dreammaker Spas version of this box/board by Balboa with this one. Other than a few dip switch settings, it works as a direct replacement.
