Note: The original FREE20 board is obsolete and has been replaced with 52532 which will be sent, it installs and wires the same.

NOTE: IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU ALSO ORDER THE $15.00 OVERLAY STICKER (10839) IN "RELATED ITEMS". If you don't, the button configuration on your current topside control will be backwards.

If your spa operates at 120 volts you will need to transfer the White jumper wire to the new board or it will not heat.

• Please Note: We highly recommend that you replace both copper straps with the Heater Cables shown in "Related Items". There have been issues with this board specifically burning at the heater connect points. Replacing the copper straps will eliminate this problem. Balboa will not honor the warranty if these connection points burn.

Topside Reference Card For The Replacement Circuit Board Being Sent (52532)

It is important that you do not order a circuit board based on looks, several boards look alike but have different software or chips. It is the chip that drives the board and gives it its unique functions. To correctly identify a circuit board the chip number should be used to identify it. It can be found on a white sticker near the center of the circuit board. Another number that is helpful in identifying a Balboa Water Group circuit board is the five digit number found on most boards (5****).
