The JED 103 is a CD or "corona discharge" type ozone generator designed for water purification in residential or commercial hot tubs, swim spas, fountains and lap pools up to 2500 gallons. It is typically installed in conjunction with a venturi injector or dedicated air jet.

Ozone Tip: Ozonators do not create bubbles. Water flow (Venturi) does, if you no longer see bubbles then something has changed in how the water is flowing.

Great service

"You can't see, hear or feel it working but it's great knowing it's there helping to treat the water.We have had our spa for over 12 years the original unit only failed when water entered the discharge air tube.I expect this unit to perform just as well."

I purchased a replacement JED 103 ozone generator from Spacare.com. It was delivered quickly and the price was very reasonable. I will shop at spacare.com again!

this is our 2nd JED 103 - in years in-between the price of this unit has become even more amazingly affordable considering they entirely eliminate our use of Bromine in our jacuzzi - keeping our family and friends safer and now costing far less than even before. The only complicated part about using high ozone as your main means of sanitation - although we have continued to use our FROG silver chloride at the same time - is that although the price of installing the JED 103 is minimal now - the cost that it would be to purchase ozone test strips is simple astronomical. So unlike your standard ability to test all of your jacuzzi's chemistry and pH - ozone is something that you'll need to do by smell... or like us - plan on replacing the unit in 18 to 24 months. All in all still much better than soaking in a hot bath of bromine healthwise...

Works great

The ozone generator that came with our hot tub stopped working. We replaced it with this one and it was fairly easy to install, and the tub is now back up and running. Part arrived quickly and was exactly what was expected.
