  • Your pump motor may be rated as 3.6 or 4.0 HP SPL. These ratings can be deceiving and are often used for sales & marketing.  
  • HP ratings are neither regulated or standardized in this industry.  Motors should be matched by their AMP rating and Voltage.  
  • If your amp rating is between 8-9 amps and 230v, this is the correct pump.
