The heater for my Vita Rendezvous Spa started dripping with the original being discontinued. Purchased the recomended stand alone replacement and was extremely surprised at the quality and completeness of the 5.5w 220 Volts Titanium Universal Heater. Everything is included that was needed to exchange out the units. About a 30 minute job beginning to end. Spa care was the lowest priced vendor with an average delivery time of 7 days from California to Florida. Tools needed for the Vita conversion; number 2 cross and straight screw drivers, medium size adjustable pliers to remove the original spring style hose clamps, razor blade or scissors to cut the 2 inch tubing in half, wire cutters to remove the neutral lug on the new harness. The 1 inch to 3/4 adapters are used in this installation. A person with average electric and mechanical skills can preform this exchange. You will need an additional grounding wire and clamp for the Vita exchange which is not included to meet safety code. The original heater was bolted to the main electrical box which is connected to the main grounding circuit. The stand alone replacement doesn't share this common ground and will need to be added. If you don't understand this part of my post it is suggested that you not try to perform this exchange yourself due to the risk of electrocution.
