Note:

This heater has 2" unions, however the plumbing connections are 1-1/2" If you need 2" connections, you can purchase them separately and replace the 1-1/2" that come with the heater.

Church maint super.

was bought as a spare replaced the unit about a yr ago on church baptistry and was using it last week and the top connector cracked and started leaking, I had bought a spare then since they are longer than the original that was installed when new in 2003..
